AMATERSU'S GSD GENES GUIDE

There are 3 types of german shepherd coats, they are all different lengths.

 

Short Stock Coat - The shortest coat of all, could be called 'smooth'.

 

Stock Coat - The medium lengthed one, just a tiny bit longer than the short stock coat, it's the most common coat on german                             shepherds.

 

Long Stock Coat - The longest of these coats, there's a difference between the stock coat, it's longer and fuzzier.
